“At Blomquist Builders Group, we pledge to provide you with a luxury home of superior quality and lasting value, built around genuine customer care and inspired design. For more than 15 years our mission has been to make building your dream home, a reality.

In an industry dominated by men, our CEO, Jennifer Blomquist is something of a rarity. However, she has created a solid foundation of success by doing what men can’t – understanding women.”

The photos throughout this site will allow you to determine the value of that pledge.

Louder than Words

Yes, that is a cedar wrapped post with mold on the front porch, and it appears that someone was not adequately trained on the table saw’s cross-cutting abilities using the miter gauge. Most homes in the $1M+ price range have solid wood posts, but this isn’t acceptable on a $200k home.

What a mesmerizing Front Stone Entrance? It took six weeks  for two broken flagstone steps to be patched, with the wrong color mortar. [correction – on April 20, 6 days before close, I requested the broken step be repairs. On May 11, it was repaired with the wrong color mortar and still remains that way.]

Not to miss the bathroom granite repair that greeted me on the first morning in the house and the protracted gas line in the laundry room. From the kitchen base cabinet vent on the floor, all the way to the seperation of the crown moudling at the ceiling, you cannot escape the lack of a “luxury home of superior quality and lasting value, built around genuine customer care and inspired design.
